Here we go again

It's hard to believe that another campaign season is here. Four years ago I was pregnant with Jack, we were living at our old house and Lauren was Jack's age now. I remember after Scott won the last election thinking that 4 years was a long time. It's passed by quickly, and it's time to go for it again. We spent the last couple of days putting together signs and placing them all over town. We are very grateful for the warm response we have recieved from the citizens. The next couple of months will be busy, but whats new...bring it on! Oh yeah and "Vote for Scott"! Thanks!

Grow old along with me, the best is yet to be

Fourteen years ago, August 25th 1995, I love to reminisce the events of that day. Scott picking me up to take me to the Temple. I remember sitting giddy in the celestial room, waiting for 10:40am so we could be married. I remember the ceremony, but I don't remember many of the words spoken. I do remember immediately after the ceremony feeling different. Feeling married, and I loved it! I remember riding down the elevator in the Temple together in amazement that it was real. That we were a married couple, for eternity. That was the most amazing day of my life. It's hard to describe how blissfully happy I was. I am blissfully happy. Scott reminds me of home. The place you want to be most, where you are always comfortable, where they always love you. That is my Scott. I love him. I am thankful everyday for the time we have had together. And I look forward to all the years ahead of us.

Back to school

We now have a fourth grader and a second grader....crazy! They both looked darling in their new school clothes this morning. Emma is getting too big and didn't want mom to walk her to class. Lauren wanted me to, but was a bit embarrassed when I wanted to take pictures of her at her desk. It's okay I understand, just a little sad that they growing up so quick. After we had all said our goodbyes to our kids, a group of mom's went out to breakfast. It was a good morning. Now it's off to get started on all those things I've been telling myself I would do when school starts! Wish me luck!

I love these Summer days

We spent another wonderful day at Yuba lake this week. We were actually going to go to Rockport just for change of scenery, but the temperature was only going to be 75. We decided to head to Yuba instead, and that was a great decision. It was a perfect day! Yuba is usually a bit windy, but not this day. The weather was awesome, without wind. The kids splashed, dug in the sand, went for tube rides. I got to water ski, Knee board and bounce around on the tube. I was sore for three days, but totally worth it! We even went to a cute little family restaurant in Nephi for dinner. Did I say that I love days like this....because I DO!
