The WWF (Wardle, Wardle, Furness families) annual memorial weekend getaway

So first I need to explain the relationship that we have with these 2 amazing families! The Furness' & The Wardle's (and yes we are related...found out after we were friends that Isaac and Scott's dad are cousins...crazy!) We met these cute couples when we were very first married. We were in the same ward together, and all lived in the South Willow apartments in West Jordan. Rob and Tracy were married the day before us, and had their reception at the same place, The Carmell. We actually wanted to get married on the 24th of August, but the reception center was booked already! Later we found out that they got it first! (Just a funny fact). Sandra and Isaac were married just a couple of weeks later. The first memorial trip was planned to go to Fish Lake. We had to cancel because Scott was put in the bishopric that week and we felt we needed to stay. Turns out that was a good trip to miss. They woke up to 6 inches of snow, in their soggy tents. (So sorry we missed that one) In years past we've been to Park City, St. George, camping, cabins, and Moab and that was a hair raising experience (Literally)! Rain, lightning,hail, snow, we've seen in all, so I think that's why we decided to go to St. George again. We seem to have the best luck with the weather there. We love our WWF. We have gone from a group of 6 (3 couples) to a group of 17 (with children)! We will be friends always. They are wonderful people, with wonderful families. We are blessed to have them in our lives. We love you guys.
