Feels like Spring
Today Scott rode his scooter to work, We walked the girls home from school, and each got a scooter ride. Don't worry, we didn't just expect Jack to hang on, as it appears in this picture. When he gets his ride he is wedged between Scott and I! We loved this little taste of Spring today...I want more!
Just some cute kids

Valentine Boxes
Yesterday was our day to make Valentine boxes for Emma and Lauren. They are having their Valentine parties today, because they don't have school on Friday. I love that they are both completely different, uniquely portraying their personalities! I think they turned out pretty cute, now its off to go help with their class parties! I told Lauren about my class party when I was in first grade, because I'll never forget it. I got sick. I remember just when it was time to hand out our Valentines, I knew I was not feeling well. My mom came and picked me up from school, and I missed the party. But just like me today, she had to help with something for one of our class parties. So she had to take me to Smith's to buy some heart candy, if I remember right. Well right there in the middle of the isle I was going to throw up, but my mother came prepared. She whipped that throw up pot out of her purse just in the nick of time, and caught it all! (do you remember that mom??? Oh how could you ever forget??) Lauren assured me she did not plan on getting sick and missing her first grade party, I was so relived! Love you mom, you were then, and still are always prepared.

Romp to Stomp
Today I tried something new....Snowshoeing! My friend Melissa told us about the Susan G. Komen, Romp to Stomp out breast cancer event. Sounds fun, and new, I'm In! My great friend Tekarri and I, met Melissa up at Mountain
Dell golf course. We registered, got all our gear on and we were off. I loved being outdoors. It felt so good to be out and active. Scott and I have talked about wanting to get outdoors with the family more this year. I guess this wasn't a family event but I was glad for the opportunity. We did the 3k (well Tekarri and I), Melissa( a more experienced snowshoer)did the 5k. It was just perfect. Afterwards we had a delicious lunch at the Citrus grill. I had a cup of sweet potato corn chowder, and a Cobb salad, yummy! It was a great experience, for a good cause, and a beautiful day.
