Ute's Parade

On Friday the girls didn't have school, and Scott took the day off. We headed into Salt Lake for the The University of Utah Football parade. It started at 3:00 pm and we arrived about 30 mins. early and had perfect seats (well you know... standing seats) all was well except that Scott forgot his coat...I guess in the loading of the van, and making sure everyone else had a coat, he forgot his own??? The weather was great though, a great day for a parade! Until the parade took a route down the opposite side of the divided street and everyone ran to stand in the median and we couldn't see much of anything. But we got to hear the band, and be part of the celebration. They even had donuts shaped like U's and hot cider. We had a good time. After we decided to go to The Old Spagetti Factory, at Trolley Square. We saw several other Ute families, and enjoyed our salad, spagetti, and spumoni Ice cream! Go Utes!

Troy and I saw this parade story on the news and knew that if anyone was there it would be the Wardles!! I even said with the girls out of school I bet the whole family goes. And then, here is your story. Love it!! It sounds like you had a great day, ending at one of the best restaurants in town. Go UTES!!!
