New Moon

So TeKarri called me in September to tell me that tickets for New Moon were on sale. she said for $40 we could have our own all Edward fans theatre, and with that we would get a bag full of Twilight goodies. I'm In! So after a long wait the night arrived. I met Tekarri and her sister at 9:30 at her house and we drove into the Gateway together. Crazy Ladies everywhere (us included)! We got Sparkled, and got our treat bags, popcorn, Dr. Pepper, and Junior Mints....all ready! What a fun night. Oh and the Movie was pretty good too! I got home at 3:45am and had about 2 hours of sleep, but It was so worth it. Thanks Tekarri for being CRAZY with me!

Election results....Congrats Scottie!

We have had a very busy couple of months. Campaign speaking engagements, putting up signs, door to door flyer's, sign's, meeting's,signs (did I say that already)? All the hard work paid off. Tuesday (election day) was a bit nerve racking, wondering what was going on, and having to wait to find out, but all the hard work paid off in the end and Scott was elected to the Tooele City Council for another 4 year term. Because I'm his wife I can say this he did very well, and I'm proud of him. Love you Scottie!

Trick or Treat

Scott had a University of Utah Football game on Halloween night, so I packed up the kids and went to my parents house. After doing all this blogging today I have realized we have been there a lot lately....sorry Mom and Dad, I hope your not too sick of us! We love being with you, and Thank You for always having us around. We set out about 6:15, and traveled all around the neighborhood. Wow we saw some festive houses! Several families were having Hot Cocoa and Root Beer. One house was even BBQing hot dogs if you wanted one! After the kids bags were getting too heavy, we headed for home. Another Great Halloween!

Pumpkin Carving

After a afternoon of shopping at Gardner Village we carved our pumpkins back at Grandma and Grandpa's house. I was up to my shoulders in pumpkin guts with our 53 pound pumpkin. Scott called that he didn't have to do that one....not fair. Jack had a lot of fun stabbing his little pumpkin and helping dig out the seeds. We put candles in them to see how they looked. I love the smell of burning pumpkins. Takes me right back to childhood, isn't it funny how just a smell can do that?

Lunch and The Witches at Garder Village

The Kids were out of school on Thursday and Friday before Halloween. We decided to meet Grandma and Taylor in at Gardner Village. We ate a Yummy lunch at Archibald's restaurant. Jack had a ball climbing under the table to switch sides frequently. Jack was having a day. Scottie had Jack duty while the girls did some shopping. Sorry honey...Scott and Jack had to leave early, Jack wasn't on his best behavior that day. We love Gardner Village especially at this fun time of year. The Witches were cute as ever. And no trip to the Village is complete without a trip to the candy store.
