The big 40!
We had a quiet birthday for Scott this year. I know that the big 40 is usually a black, over the hill, crazy one. When I asked Scott what do you want to do??? He just said "be with you" really sweet I know. I felt lots of guilt for not doing a big party, or anything monumental, but this is what he said he wanted. I wasn't going to argue, because it sounded good to me too. Scott loves food. So I took him out to lunch at Casa Del Ray. It is our favorite little Mexican spot in Grantsville. We had our usual alombra's, which always hit the spot. Then we also went out to dinner to Sostanza. The food was amazing as always. I think I enjoyed Scott's birthday as much as he did. 15 years ago I remember leaving you a note on your car wishing you a happy 25th birthday. Now look 15 years later, who would have know? I love you so very much. Thank you for being my greatest friend.

Jacksons 4th birthday
We started the day with birthday pancakes and decorations. When I asked Jack what kind of birthday party he wanted he said "I want a decorations birthday party!" I think he really wanted monster truck decorations, but I couldn't find those (only in the catalog, and it was to late to order at this point) so we had pirate decorations. Capton Jack had a great day! Among his favorites were the Hot wheels scooter and monster truck from Grandma and Grandpa. He also loved his remote control helicopter, although it only took flight once when grandpa flew it. We had a yummy spaghetti dinner with my family and the Crane's stoped by too. It's hard to believe my baby is 4. It's been a crazy 4 years Jack. We've laughed, we've cryed, you have an amazing little spirit and personality to match. We love you sunshine!

Sliding into summer 2010
So here we are again, summertime! Where does time go?? The first days of summer playing on our $5 slip-n-slide from walmart! I popped it before we even began to slide. Thank goodness for the included repair kit!( I guess we wouldn't have been out much. Now I'm glad I said "no" to the $40 deluxe buzz light year one Jack wanted).
looking forward to another fun filled summer!

Monster Jam...or not
Funny Story....
So Scott and I were watching television when we saw the Monster Jam commercial come on. You know the one...big echo voice, MONSTER JAM.. JAM.. JAM.. Well we both looked at each other and said Jack! He has been really into monster trucks lately, and how much fun would he have to actually go and see real ones. Not just toys, or video games, but the real stuff. So Scott got online and got some great seats, center arena, 8 rows up. We told Jack and he was sooo excited. How many tomorrows? This is how Jack gages time...how many tomorrows (I love it). When the day finally arrived he woke up and the first words out of his mouth were "Its my date with dad to monster jam today"! Well just before this picture was taken Jack said "I'm not feeling so good". We just thought he was nervous because we warned him that it was going to be really loud. Scott took him to "Mickey Dondalds" before to get some dinner. Before they even ordered Jack said "I need to go to the bathroom" where he threw up. Still thinking it might just be nerves they took Tracks to the stadium where Jack once again threw up, this time all in Scott's jacket. Scott called me "We are coming home" me: "where are you"? Scott: "Just up from the stadium" me: "oh he has to at least just see the trucks" So they walked down to the stadium, walked in the doors and Jack heard the first engine roar and said "I want to go home". So some lucky people got 2 free tickets to Monster Jam that night and Scott came home and put our sick little boy to bed. Sorry Jack, maybe next time.
